Well… I survived putting on Christmas! I made my second Turkey in my entire life, I’m so proud of myself! The turkey was so so tasty, so yummy, so de-li-ci-ous!!! I also made carrots and squash mash, brussel sprouts, ham, peas and gravy. YUM. My s-i-l brought the dessert, homemade shortbread, butter tarts and a chocolate yummy gooey bowl of yum. We fed 11 people over 16 and 4 under 8 years of age. All stuffed into my f-i-l’s eat in kitchen. My kitchen is almost assembled…

It was a great evening with the family! My kids had a blast with their cousins. I didn’t see Q at all – he was busy playing hockey with Josh. Em’s followed Mel around and Li was enjoying the hundreds of Go Diego Go toys and clothes he got. They were spoiled once again by their Auntie J!! He was still grinning from ear to ear when we made him go to bed at 11pm!! Jake was busy in all of the girl’s arms, it was a nice break. He actually was so wiped out that he slept through the night! Yes… stop the presses! Jake slept through the night for the first time since the eve of the day my hubby’s mom passed away last year. I’ve been looking forward to a good nights sleep for a very, very long time!

Now it is back to work tomorrow for me. My parents have just landed but they haven’t arrived to the house yet. My mom called about a half hour ago, a bags been left back in Vancouver and they had a delayed flight from Prince George… The kids will enjoy their time with Nana and Papa, it’s been well over a year since they got to see their grandparents.

I hope you all had a great Christmas!

  7. Hi Shash! Thanks for your note on my blog … I’ve sent you an email a couple of times about fixing the quirks in your template so I’m not sure if they were addressed right! 🙂 I have a few more days off work and could probably get it done for you fairly quickly if you wish.

Needed: a username and passcode and the permission to convert to the new blogger. (They won’t be supporting the old system so ya may as well take the plunge!) It’s not necessary, though, so you may prefer not!
