classico meatball sliders

September is here again which means school is back in session and that also means having to scramble to figure out what to eat when everyone gets home. I’m all about making life less stressful for our busy family with easy weeknight dinners. Personally, dinner is my favourite meal of the day. I really look forward to sitting down with the family and having something super yummy to enjoy. As a huge fan of quick and easy recipes, I thought I’d share one of my new favourite quick dinners!

Meatball Sliders!

I made this the other night and let me tell you, we will be making this more often. It’s so good, very filling and most importantly… QUICK!! It will take you less than 20-25 minutes to put it all together from fridge to table. Check out a similar recipe for full sized meat lover’s meatball subs

Making life easier for our busy family during the week….

Let’s get started shall we?!

Meatball Sliders

What you’ll need:

1 package dinner rolls
Home-made or pre-cooked meatballs
2c Mozzarella cheese
Classico’s New flavour Bolognese sauce
Garlic butter

What you’ll do:

Step 1:

Heat meatballs in Classico Bolognese sauce in a frying pan.

Step 2:

Oil spray a ceramic baking dish, cut diner rolls in half, and place in greased dish.

Step 3:

Remove meatballs from frying pan and place over the dinner rolls. Add cheese on top and cover with the top half of your dinner rolls.

Step 4.

Spread melted garlic butter over tops of the rolls and place in oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. You may need to cover the rolls with tin foil so they won’t burn. Check them between 8-10 minutes.

There you have it! Delicious, homemade, 20 minute meatball sliders!

Buon Appetito
