We’re in a small town in Maryland right now. Went to meetings in Leesburg, Virginia over the weekend and today we visited Washington, DC. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, the White House and the view from the top of the Old Post Office was so cool. It rained all weekend and it’s sunny and warm today so it was perfect to see the Capital of the USA. I had never been before but my hubby has. Cool. It’s dinner time and I hear him coming… augh type faster….
I’ll try to escape again and fill you in on more before we come home!
Tomorrow we’re going to Gettysburg, PA to see the fields where the battle that ended the Civil War between the North and the South took place, was it 1863? On Wednesday it is onto West Virginia – home of the Mountain Momma… anybody know the song??
