That’s what my church is doing tomorrow night. We’re opening the doors at 7pm and we plan to rock around the clock! It’s a 50’s Sock Hop. We have prizes for the best 50’s costume, trivia and for who can do the twist – the best and the longest. We’re eating burgers, fries and rootbeer floats, all from Pop’s Diner. I hope it will turn out the same way it looks in my head. Although my head has been a bit foggy the last few days. (Jake slept more last night so I got about 4 hours in a row…)There will be games and lots of surprises. One of our youth is having his band perform for the first time. I’ll fill you in on more – I’m really behind in lots of little details… one being the bulletin that was due at the printers today… oops! I’ll have to figure out a plan B. So much to do – so little of me to split up into thousands of pieces to do all this stuff in… That’s what makes life so interesting!!Happy New Year everyone!!!
