Yesterday was a very full day, my hubby went all out!!

The day started off with me sleeping in, as a mom of 4 who are between the ages of 2 and 9… this is heaven (and the 2 year old slept through the night… puts this up a notch)!! I woke up to the smell of bacon and coffee. Since I didn’t want crumbs in my bed he took it back downstairs and I joined him at the kitchen table. It was one of my favourites, a recipe from my parent’s restaurant. A BLT with an egg and guacamole, homemade-that-moment guacamole to boot!

After breakfast he brought me flowers a mixed bouquet with Calla Lilies. I separated the two bunches – with the flowers he brought me last week… I’m surrounded!!

Last night we got all dressed up and had two teenagers from church come over, one cleaned and the other watched the kids, while we went to a Valentine’s Dinner and Show at our friend’s church. They do amazing performances and dinners, I know I’ve told you before about them!! 🙂 It was a great night with fabulous food, fantastic singing/dancing – fun all around with old friends. They took a good picture of my man and me, if I can get our scanner going… I’ll upload it. I took a bunch of pictures but there’s something wrong with my camera, it won’t let go of the photos…

I hope you all had a great day!!

  1. Calla Lilies are my favourite too! (actually any kind of lily)
    Sounds like a fantastic night!

  2. In response to one of your comments, no, I don’t remember the birthday musical. I do remember a musical called “Down By The Creekbank”. I also think it is hysterical that your sister threw up on Jerry Savelle. My husband and I worked at Kenneth Copeland Ministries for 10 years before going out on our own. Small world:)

  3. That sounded like a perfect day from beginning to end.
