This is Jake. He’s my youngest. He just turned 5 at the end of the summer. On Thursday I took him out on a date while the older 3 were at their piano lessons. While we were sitting there, chatting it up, I asked him how he did for picture day.
He gave me the smile he did for his photos.
Then I asked him how his day went.
He leans into the armrest of the chair, hot chocolate in one hand and looks at me with all sincerity… and says,
“You know how it goes!”
This is the same boy who told me, after I asked him to unload the dishwasher, that he’s allergic to clean dishes! Gotta luv that boy!!
