It's been too quiet here! -

I started writing over 13 years ago, sharing about my life; which included my kids, church, travel, and lessons learned along the way. Until I was discovered by a marketing agency… then life and my blog changed!

I left the Influencer world behind in 2017. And since then my blog has been quiet… but I want to get started again. Going back to my roots! Back to the reason, I started it in the first place. Sharing about my love for my family, for God, and for encouraging people!

Since 2017, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling with my family and starting new ventures. Last year I launched Shine on Sisters! A not-for-profit ministry to help women find their voice, in particular… in the church. That has led to a program on two TV networks. In 2017 we sent our first kid off to University and the second in 2018. They attend Trinity Western University in Langley, British Colombia which is a 5-hour flight away. The third one finishes high school when the fourth and final enters grade 9.

The last time I really wrote something of value on here… this is what my family looked like…

And now below… this is the latest family photo taken this past Christmas. With two kids in University, which happens to be clear cross the country, we don’t have many opportunities to be in the same room, let alone pose for photos. All four of them are now taller than me.

Quinton turns 21 this year. Emma 19. Liam will be 17 this fall and Jacob 14.
