My baby – my last child – is 1 years old! I remember so vividly the day he was born… that couldn’t have been a year ago…. where did the time go?
JZ was 10 lbs 7.5 oz at birth. A big chubby baby – just how I like ’em!! (check out this post for a picture of him then) His was the easiest birth by far. The nurses didn’t believe me that I was in labour! From the time I waddled into triage to the time he was out and the cord was cut… only 2 1/2 hours had passed.
He started crawling around 8 months and took his first steps at 10 1/2 months old. He’s determined to be just like his older siblings and follows them where ever they go. He loves to smile and laugh and play in the garbage; he gives big hugs and kisses and wants up all the time. He’s a momma’s boy!!

Happy Birthday JZ! I can n ot believe that your 1 already. I remember been at your place when grandma D got the call saying it was a boy and how big you were. We were all so very excited.

I forgot that you grew up in BC… I did too! When I got married, my whole life changed, just like yours. I moved to the U.S.– a whole different country. No doubt for you, moving from the west coast to the east coast was just as big a change… totally different. So glad we’re sisters in Christ!
