I know I’m extremely busy this week but it seems to be going by so slowly!! Work is so slow, I’m even finding surfing boring… I try to keep myself busy but I’m not the only one looking for extra jobs to fill the day. I went to my supervisor’s house last night for a Christmas get-together with the other ladies from my department. It was a nice evening. I was only there for a short time.
My hubby had to go to the airport to pick up our friend (who flew out on Friday) so I dropped all 4 kids and 2 Japanese students off at their house, his wife – my very good friend – was there to pinch-hit and entertain my entire crew. What a chore that must have been! Thanks BL!!!
Tonight our 2nd and 3rd child are performing at their school, I only have a little while left to blog and get caught up on my favourite blogging buds. Tomorrow is a half-day and child #1 does his thing at school.
I can’t believe there is less than 2 weeks left until Christmas now. I am SOOOOO not ready. I still haven’t found my decorations that are in storage or even started shopping for the kids!! Maybe we’ll celebrate Christmas in July… I should be ready by then… shouldn’t I?! My hubby hasn’t been able to be much help this week. He overdid it on the weekend and is paying for it today. I was grocery shopping hours after getting out of the hospital after giving birth to my 2nd kid who was 8 lbs 8 oz…. I have very little empathy.
I’ve been called back to the dish pit. All the dishes from last night have been waiting for me all day. Dad’s dishwasher isn’t working and apparently neither is my hubby!! Doing dishes for 10 people by hand SUCKS!!
I remember days of having to wash by hand… I am so happy I don’t have to do that any more. 🙂
I just heard that WAl-Mart is going to be open 24-7 as of this weekend. (I have not confirmed it yet) but I think you may find me there a night or two trying to get my shopping done. Maybe I will see you there too.
Keep smiling the week is well not over but its getting there.
isn’t amazing what babies they are when it is their turn to put their legs in the stirrups!! I didn’t have much sympathy either!

We have a dishwasher now, but I still find that the dishes get done better by hand…I hate washing them though…that’s what kids are for!
Man, doing the dishes is one chore I really don’t like! I can’t imagine doing dishes for 10! If I was there, I would help you. 🙂
Why not live life as a “picnic” – buy disposable dishes and cutlery – bio-degradeable that is. Think of the extra time U will have on the blog.

Hey I hear ya when my kids were little I had to do them all by hand also I hated it and not have the other half help and having them be sucks is awful too. Us moms need to stick together If I were there I would help ya hey just a thought call our sis who is not working and tell her you need a house keeper she needs a job you need a house keeper Just a thought Judy
