I can’t believe we had to jump ahead an hour last night. What a pain that was!! I am paying the price for staying up until my normal bed time of midnight!!!

I should have taken a nap after church but no…. I went shopping! 4 of us in total hopped into the van, left the kids at our place (with our hubby’s; 10 kids in total between 3 of us) and headed out to IKEA. What a busy place that was!!! I found a couple of items and 1 of them was even a necessity. Aren’t I a good girl?! I bought 2 toilet scrubbers and a duvet cover for Jake when he finally gets out of our bed and into his own… a girl can dream can’t she?!! His cover matches his two older brothers beds now. The necessity item was the cabinet piece of wood that goes beside the space for the dishwasher, I couldn’t even take it home – I just had to order it and pay for it. How much fun is that?!

We drove straight from shopping right back to the church (after picking up above mentioned children with hubby’s in tow) and flew back to church. Tonight we watched the movie, “One Night with the King”, the story of Queen Esther. Click here for a clip of it http://www.8x.com/onenight/

I loved reading about Esther when I was a little girl, it was my favourite Bible story. This was much better than the only other production I’ve seen about her…. you know… the Veggie Tales version….

This was worth the long day and long evening. Since there is no school tomorrow for my children I didn’t feel guilty about keeping them out until almost 10pm ~ although I still have to work…. YUCK!

I don’t know what my hubby plans on doing with them during the day. I’ll be home by 3:30pm so it’s not too bad. We’ll have to plan some family trips in the evening – in between our meetings with different people in the church and services and trying to get our taxes done… and the basement too. We picked up the black slate tile for the bathroom, it is going to look sweet!!!! You’ll all have to come over after we’re done for a look-see! 🙂

Other than that it hasn’t been too interesting of a week or weekend. I don’t even remember what we did on Saturday…. Did we have a Saturday this weekend???? All I know is that it’s warming up so that is a good thing. I don’t know why I’m asking rhetorical questions, it is way too late and I am way too tired.

Talk to you tomorrow when I’m a little more coherent…
