We were married on the top of Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, British Columbia on May 11th, 1996. Our wedding day was our 40th day in each others presence! We met on a Sunday morning in August of 1995 while I was visiting family in Ontario and started talking on the phone towards the end of September of that same year. We “seriously” telephone dated between Ontario and BC most of the time. We kept moving up our wedding date – we couldn’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. I was 24 and he was 29. That seems so long ago and we look so young!!! It’s amazing what a mortgage and 4 kids can do to ones body!!! 😉

It has been an amazing journey. In all those years we have never said any words to hurt or things that we’d regret. We’ve never threatened to leave or cursed one another. We’ve had our disagreements… he is a man after all!!! Me being an emotional, stubborn woman has absolutely nothing to do with it by the way.

We value our Creator and what He’s created and put His ways before ours. It’s not about “ME” it is about “WE”!! It’s makes an incredible difference… when you can remain pliable for the Almighty to continue to fashion and mold you into the being He sees you as!!

Here’s to 11 wonderful and life changing years babe! Love ya.
