Yes, it’s my birthday today.
I was born on this day 38 years ago. Yikes… that’s hard to say. I like to live in denial and tell everyone I’m still 30 with 8 years of experience. I’d love to still be 30, not 2 years away from being 40. I’m so not ready for that stage in life. Is that vain?
It’s not just me that is celebrating today… my son Liam was born 8 years ago today! Yes, on my 30th birthday he decided to arrive. I love sharing this date with him and he is THRILLED to share this day with me!
Tonight the two of us went out for dinner. Yup, just the two of us. We got all dressed up and headed out to a fancy and expensive restaurant. A place that he chose! He has expensive taste like his mommy.
We had a really good night tonight. I’ll do a proper post all about my little man but now I must rest… it’s been a busy day! 🙂

Happy Birthday. I know how you feel about your age. I turn 37 this year and I can't believe it. Looks like you and your son had a great time celebrating. I guess you could say the present you got for your 30th birthday will never be topped, so why bother counting anymore. Haha.
