Patti and I grew up together. She is my baby sister’s very best friend. Her mom is my brother-in-law’s sister and her dad is my cousin-in-law’s brother. No, we’re not rednecks. We all went to the same church, her grandpa was our pastor. My very favourite pastor to date. 🙂 shhh don’t tell my hubby! Needless to say, we have a lifetime of history together.

Patti shaved her head in support of her DD

A year ago today, her eldest daughter, Angelica or more commonly known as “Geli”, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – B Cell. She has had a hard year, with her blood counts remaining low, she hasn’t been allowed to do too much or see too many people. She has to be very careful not to get sick.

Remember when my sister shaved her head last September to help raise money they needed for the day-to-day expenses of Geli’s chemo treatments and more!

Today, at the age of 14, she is spending the day receiving a blood transfusion.

Geli – 14 – Kicking Cancer’s Butt

From July 17-23, 2011 Geli will be going with The Sunshine Kids (they help kids that are dealing with cancer) to New York City. The organization is supplying everything she needs to get there and stay there but Geli would like to raise her own shopping/spending money.

Since she can’t babysit like other 14 year old girls or hold down a job as a dishwasher at a restaurant… she has designed her very own T-shirts! Here’s just one of the few styles she has for sale.

That’s Geli’s profile on that shirt! Confidence is indeed Beautiful! To see more styles of her logo T’s hop over to Patti’s blog. You can purchase her T-shirts and help her have a blast in New York City this summer!!

You can read more about Geli’s journey and about the 4 other kids that my friend Patti has and their life over on her blog: Xangelle’s Xanadu

Please note that we are not starting with inventory, and so we will be compiling the first weeks orders, then getting them printed, then shipping. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery (5 weeks for international). Also, please let us know if there are any issues with the PayPal shopping cart.
