My kids are SO looking forward to today. In only a few more hours we are having our church’s first Princess Tea Party. It’s really not that big a deal but my kids are thrilled.
At 6:30am – In the MORNING! – Q and Em were both dressed to the 9’s ready to go. Q dressed himself in a full suit, clip on tie ‘n everything and even slicked his hair down (which for him is a feat, he has so much thick hair). He is helping serve. Em was dressed in a white floor length flower girl dress, she wore last May for her cousin’s wedding. They were smiling from ear to ear as they came to tell us that they were ready to go. THEY DO KNOW HOW TO TELL TIME!!
Q says to us, “look mom and dad… I’m a mini-pastor.” We laughed so hard. What a kid!!
Well, now our hair is up in curlers and things are moving along. I’m looking forward to this day too. I’ll add some pictures of it to my flicr later.
All profits raised go to help my young friend who has just finished her chemo and radiation treatments but still has the bills to look forward to.
