OK, so I’ve been tagged – K… I was tagged a while ago (like the end of July). I’m not good at these things and I’m really good at procrastinating! But here goes nothing!! So Super Mom – thanks for the tag and I hope those I tag don’t follow in my foot-steps but actually do this in a decent amount of time!

Don’t forget the Rules!
1. Link the person(s) who tagged me
2. Mention the rules on my blog
3. Tell about six unspectacular quirks of mine
4. Tag six fellow blogger’s by linking them
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged

OK, now onto important information that I know you can’t live without… 6 quirky things about me:

#1) I’m not stealing this one from Super Mom, it just happens to be a problem of mine too… I talk to myself while I’m driving. About upcoming meetings (conversations I need to have), the other people’s driving skills, the witty responses I should have had when last insulted or condescended to or “put in my place” by people who think they can do what I do but only better… my car is my safety bubble. Sometimes these “talks” make me think that I’ve already talked with these people so when I get frustrated with them, I’ve been known to say, “Just stop it, we’ve already had this conversation!” I did… with me, myself and I in my car… why weren’t you in there too?! 😉

#2) I dream in other languages and not just ones I know but also in different accents.

#3) When trying to fall asleep, I’ve been known to tap my teeth together to a song (kinda like a hum but tap, tap, tap goes my teeth).

#4) I can do “The Worm” – and only my kids knew about it until this past weekend when they told the whole church during the talent show the other night at camp…

#5) It bugs me when things hung on a wall aren’t straight (and when they’re hung at the wrong height).

#6) I smile when I talk on the phone!! Just as if the people were there right in front of me!! 🙂

So… there you go!

My six quirks… and if anyone is reading this: I tag Cheri, Ruth, Krista, Alida , Crickl and Joann!! I’ll check your blogs for quirks!

I thought how you eat corn would be on there.

  2. Haha, I forgot about that one! That’s a normal thing isn’t it?! One row at a time until it’s perfectly clean runs in my family. 🙂

  3. Does Lala and your dad eat it that way?

  4. my older sis and my dad and now my daughter too!!

  5. my quirks are up now for the world to see!

  6. OK, I am publishing momentarily…

  7. Okay now mine are done! Thanks and yeah, the corn eating sounds ‘interestig’ lol

  8. ok, I did it…and while sleeping I thought of more…hm, I guess I am quirkier then I thought…

  9. Hey! I totally laughed when I read about your conversations in the car!! ME TOO! I actually feel like I’ve had the conversation and sometimes forget I haven’t . OR..I ahve a GREAT conversation after the fact, of everything I wished I would have said! And yes..I smile on the phone too – hiliarous. But seriously…’the worm’??You are one talented pastor’s wife!

  10. I eat my corn like that too. One row at a time, starting at the left and going to the right and repeating, like a typewriter. You use your top teeth or your bottom? I use the bottom, have discovered it comes off cleaner that way. Ohmygosh, can’t believe we’re talking about this!
Anyway, have never heard of someone who speaks other languages in their dreams…flying, breathing under water, being invisible, or naked, yeah, but languages??? that is quirky

  11. hey I didn’t even know you could do the worm!! you always were so flexible!
